Terms and conditions

Sparktacular Cleaning Services

By booking a service with Sparktacular Cleaning Services, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions. These terms ensure a professional, safe, and transparent experience for both our clients and our cleaning team.

1. Bookings and Access
• All bookings must include the client’s full name, property address, contact information, and selected service.
• The client must provide safe and timely access to the property. This includes clear instructions for keys or entry codes.
• If our team cannot access the property within 15 minutes of arrival, a minimum $50 call out fee may apply.
• Utilities such as water and electricity must be available for the duration of the clean.

 

2. Quotes and Pricing
• Quotes are based on information provided by the client. This includes photos and accurate property details.
• Prices may be adjusted if the actual condition differs from what was disclosed at the time of booking.
• Excessive grime, mould, waste, pet hair, or neglect may result in additional charges.
• Any extra work will only be completed upon client approval.

 

3. Payments and Billing
• Invoices are issued after the completion of each service. Payment is required within 7 days from the invoice issue date unless otherwise agreed in writing.
• Accepted payment methods: Bank Transfer (using the details provided on your invoice).
• Late payments may incur fees.
• NDIS service invoices for ongoing work are issued fortnightly to the appropriate NDIS provider or plan manager

4. Cancellations and Rescheduling
• Cancellations and changes within 24 hours of a booked service may incur a $50 late fee.
• If our team arrives but cannot proceed due to access issues or unsafe conditions, the same fee may apply.
• We reserve the right to reschedule in cases of illness, severe weather, or emergencies.

 

5. Service Scope and Exclusions
• Work is carried out according to the service booked, such as Residential Cleaning, Commercial Cleaning, Move in/Move out clean or NDIS/aged care clean
• The following are excluded unless confirmed in advance:

  • Heavy rubbish removal

  • Biohazard cleaning, including bodily fluids and animal waste

  • High areas above 2.5 metres without suitable equipment

  • Exterior windows unless specified

  • We will decline tasks that are unsafe or require specialist trade services.

 

6. Condition of Property
• Floors and surfaces should be reasonably free from items prior to cleaning.
• If excessive clutter restricts access or prevents effective cleaning, additional fees may apply for the extra time required, or the service may be declined at our discretion.

7. Damage and Liability
• While care is taken, accidental damage may occur. Any concerns must be reported within 12 hours of service completion.
• Pre existing damage or wear and tear will not be the responsibility of Sparktacular Cleaning Services.
• We are not liable for fragile or unsecured items including artwork, ornaments, and loose fittings.
• We hold public liability insurance and review all claims individually.

8. Health and Safety
• Cleaners must have a safe working environment with adequate lighting and ventilation.
• Aggressive behaviour, unsafe environments, or evidence of illegal activities will result in immediate service cancellation.
• Pets must be secured to avoid interruption or risk. Additional fees may apply for pet related cleaning requirements.

 

9. Satisfaction Guarantee
• If you are not satisfied with any aspect of the service, please contact us within 12 hours of the clean.
• Clients may be asked to provide photos or evidence so we can assess the concern.
• If the issue relates to an item included in the agreed service and is confirmed to be below standard, we will return to rectify it at no additional cost.
• If the concern cannot be verified, falls outside the agreed scope, or results from new mess after our visit, a call-out fee may apply for any return service.
• Refunds are not offered for completed services when a rectification can be performed.

 

10. End of Lease Cleaning Disclaimer
• We follow industry standard end of lease cleaning checklists.
• However, we cannot guarantee bond return, as final inspections depend on the property manager and may involve factors unrelated to cleaning.
• Clients must ensure that the property is completely vacant and free of rubbish before the clean unless otherwise arranged.

 

11. Privacy and Data Protection
• Client information is collected only for administration and service delivery.
• We do not share personal information with third parties except for billing approvals such as NDIS plan managers.
• All data is securely stored in compliance with Australian privacy requirements.

 

12. Photos and Quality Assurance

• Before and after photos may be taken for internal quality checks, proof of service, and dispute resolution.
• Images will not include personal or identifying information.
• Clients may opt out of photos only by notifying us prior to the appointment.
• If no notice is provided before the service, Sparktacular Cleaning Services cannot be held responsible for taking photos as part of our standard quality assurance process.

 

13. Force Majeure
• We are not responsible for delays or cancellations caused by events outside our control. These include natural disasters, illness, accidents, or interruptions to utilities.

 

14. Updates to Terms
• Sparktacular Cleaning Services may update these terms from time to time.
• The most recent version will always apply to future bookings.
